Owned and operated by Adam and Valerie Witherspoon, Shiloh K-9 was
established in 2003. Adam and Valerie have over 25 years of combined
experience training and caring for dogs. They bring an incredible approach
to dog training, utilizing the best technology along with good 'ol fashioned
common sense.
Adam began his training career in 1996 training police dogs. He has since trained over 500 dogs for just about every need imaginable. He has attended a master trainer's school, seminars, classes, and roundtables instructed by people like Cesar Millan, Wendy Volhard, Marc Goldberg, Peter Nunez, and Martin Deeley just to name a few. He is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, and an Evaluator for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Program. He has been featured on WXII 12 news, WLOE radio, and writes a monthly article for the Eden's Own Journal. He is a member of Osborne Baptist Church in Eden NC where he and his family are actively involved, as well as member of The Eastern States Working Dog Association.
Valerie began her career as a young girl working in veterinary medicine as a vet technician. She has a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Vermont in Animal Science, and brings an incredible insight of veterinary medicine to the facility. As assistant training director, she is compassionate and caring, being able to reach dogs many say are "beyond help". A member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, she the epitomy of honesty and integrity.
Justin Gregory began working at Shiloh K-9 in July of 2009. He is our kennel manager and assistant trainer. An incredible decoy, he can handle any dog that comes in front of him. Plain and simple. We thank God every day for bringing Justin to us, and enjoy continuing to watch him grow and learn daily.
