In the winter of 2008 I received my first k9 Max. Max was a single purpose narcotics k9. When i received Max I learned that I was the second handler for Max. The first owner was not happy for what ever reason.. stating he was no count. Adam started evaluating Max,and finally we where paired. After seeing the results I'm pretty sure the first owner was sick. My first k9 was a male lab that was single purpose, you know the slow laid back type...Max was very energetic, wow did I receive a rude awakening with Max. Max was a well mannered and well balanced k9 when it came to work, loyalty, and family. Max was responsible for some great Narcotics bust that earned myself and Max great respect in our work. Out side agencies from other Counties called to have Max search for narcotic. Max was the kind of k9 that when he searched it was either there or it wasn't. Max had a final alert unlike any other I have ever seen. when he was 100% his tail would wag in a circular motion like a helicopter. In the summer of 2010 Max Passed away of sudden cardiac death, according to the Vet. Adam Knowing how special the bond between Max an I had been, he new I was looking for another. He called me out of the blue one evening late and said I have an out standing female dual purpose that's push button are you interested... of course I said "yes". we set up a time to meet up, and I received Sally. Sally and I trained an certified as a team in Narcotics, and patrol. Now this being the first time having a dual purpose k9, I was nervous, and excited all in one. To watch Sally work is a treat of its own. While writing this testimony about Shiloh k9 and the wonderful family that runs and operates the business I kept reflecting back on the conversations with Adam in
Reference to Sally being push button. When he told me this I said to my self I'm not sure what he means by this but "Wow" it sounds neat. when I finally was able to see what he described as push button I was amazed. She's really Push Button. her obedience Amazing, tracking unbelievable, and a bite i would not want to be on the wrong side of. Narcotics surpassed Max. Sally and I have seized large amounts of cash, drugs, and have put many dangerous criminals behind bars. Sally's well balanced with a great temperament, and truth be known makes my job easy. She's great for school demonstration. Like Max When searching for narcotics its either there or its not, no maybe's. Sally's a prime example of quality you receive at Shiloh k9. All this being said, this leads me up to bragging about Shiloh k9. Shiloh k9's run by Adam, Wife Valerie, and there wonderful girls and staff. There business is successful because of the quality of service they produce. From personal experience your not just a customer you become part of the family. Everyone at Shiloh k9 will be there to help with what ever situation may arise. Without the guidance from the staff at Shiloh k9 I would have never been as successful and produced the results that I have. If anyone, I mean anyone would like to speak to me personally, call me (864)809-7911. I will be more than happy to show you my Training log, Deployment logs, and will let you watch Sally work.I encourage everyone to look at the wonderful posts left on there web site by others. Law enforcement agencies, and officers please think about this, there are so many kennels out there that promise you quality k9's but what your buying is a factory stamped out trained k9's,Which will cost your agencies more money in the end.If you buy one k9 from Shiloh k9 I promise you will want to buy another for your agency. Shiloh k9 staff keep up the good work, and God Bless.
The Department of Public Safety for the Creation Museum has for the past 3 years exclusively utilized Shiloh K9 for its K9 needs. Adam, and his wife Valerie and the entire staff have time and again gone out of their way to handle every anticipated need that we have had. The training our officers have received was well done and professional in all facets and the follow up trainings have been exemplary. As a former k9 handler and trainer I know a little about k9’s myself and I simply don’t know anyone else that I would recommend. The Christian demeanor of this groups owners permeates the business with a confident and respectful attitude in all that is done. I know the animals are treated right, and are well taught, the results speak for themselves.

I came to Shiloh K9 as a explosives dog handler. This was my first experience as a dog handler, and the entire staff made the learning experience fun and challenging. During my time there, I could see why a dog from Shiloh K9 is not just a ordinary working dog but an extraordinary dog. Adam and his staff helped me really understand what it meant to be a K9 handler. When I came down, there were many challenges not just with be being a green handler but also my had purchased a dog that had a lot of issues, which Shiloh K-9 helped me and the dog work through. The personal one on one training I received was a big key to seeing the end result. They don't just pump out an assembly line of handlers and dogs. They produce a smart confident handler who can think and problem solve and a dog that when you see them work is the best testiment to how great of a place Shiloh K9 is. That is why when I needed a second dog, I went back to Adam and his team for the best training and top quality product in a working dog.
